Abstract

          Graph theory and network analysis have very close relationship. The most popular application for graph theory and network analysis is network analysis for road. This project report is concentrates on the web based system development using application of network analysis to determine the shortest route to any tourism destination in the state of Johor. The Floyd Warshall will be used as a basic algorithm to determine the best path. Software and programming language that will be used during the system development are Microsoft Access 2000, Microsoft FrontPage 2000, Active Server Page, Personal Web Server, Ulead GIF Animator 4.0, Adobe Photoshop 5.5, Visual Basic Script, Javascript and HTML.

Abstract

           The purpose of this project is to produce a learning software or Computer Aided Insfuction (CAI) for Stafistical Process Control (SPC) This software is to assist students to better understanding the SPC concept by 'how if' approach.It's an interactive system that have many user interfaces. The concept of learning by example and learning by mistakes will be integrated.The students are given data related to a problem and utilize the software package to find the solution. At the beginning, the software is develop in a personel computer without any network or based on web application.It used Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 in the Miecrosoft Windows environment. The package is consist of control chart modules, some basic statistics and other quality analisys tools.

          Quality Control is the use of technique and activities to achieve, sustain and improve the quality of a product.In a manufacturing sectors,quality control is essential to ensure that the product or service is able to fullfills the customer's requirement and safety. In this project, a ful computerized Quality Control Management System has been developed to assist organization in improving the quality of products and solving the problems of quality control. This system is based on a semi-conductor product. The system has been developed to helped the management team to detect, analyze and choose the best way to assure that their products has fullfilled the needs and spesifications. Technique in the Statistics Process Control like X Bar, C, P , Pareto chart and histogram will be used with Borland Delphi 5 for the system to detect and solve problems that related with product qualities. Output can be displayed on screen and printed to make easier for data analysis of quality control for Texas Instrument (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Abstract

          B-Spline is a kind of equation that can be used to model a surface of an object in a computer .In this project, a software was developed, and it has ability to generatea B- spline surface. This software involved the Cubic B-spline equation to generate a surface. The surface model can be viewed in two dimension or three dimension. This software also allow the user to modify the surface model on any surface control point. To view the output in three dimension, the generating axes must be rotate by a user. The user input will be locate at an array before the process of generating surface take place. This input was involved the parameter value of control point x, y, and z on it generating axes.

Quality plays an important role in an industry. Quality of a product will increase company's profit and their product will be well received by customer.For Staedtler (M) Berhad, the present quallty control system are not using proper technique.In order to overcome these problems,a computerised quality control system was made by using tgchniques in statistical euatity contol (sec) like Histogram,Pareto Chart,control chart and acceptance sampling based on Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) are used. Methodology of quality conhol system development at Staedtler (M) Berhad based on Waterfall Methodology. Output of this system are to analyst data and display it by using charts and reports. This system has been developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Macromedia Flash 5.0 is used as an grafical image and Microsoft Access 2000 software as the database.To generate a report,this system used Seagate Crystal Report7.0.

          The objective of this project is to upgrade the minor setbacks in the current system,in which it can perform image file format conversion becoming ASCII text formatted database which can then be reassess by the CAD/CAM software.The image involvement will only be on points and lines while the drawing on grayscale TIFF images. These project will focus to extra lines, upgrade thinning process and upgrading the dxf file. 4 software will be merge into one system. That software included Adobe PhotoShop 6.0 for drawing, MasterCam 8.1 for display file dxf image, Borland C++ 5.02 as a engine system and visual Basic 6.0 for the interface.

Taking the advantages for the development of computer technology these days, this project is performed to help the tasks of analyzing the market price of Hwa Tai company and afterward predicting the growth of the counter in the future. In that way, this study is trying to compare forecast result between Box- Jenkins method and neural network at the same time find the most suitable forecasting method to be executed based on computer.

This inventory system is develop to aide restaurant management in deciding and controlling item in a stock using the selected model. The selected model that will be used in developing this system are Silver Meal Model. This system are develop using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language with it database that is Microsoft Access 2000. This programming language is selected base on it user friendliness and object oriented.

Abstract

          Generally in the production line manufacturing industry, optimized production is an important aspect. Therefore, one case study was done at the Tai Sin Electric Cables (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. factory. The purpose is to estimate the production during certain time and to try to improve the production.The main problem in this manufactures is the inconstant production which brings difficulty for the factory to accurately estimate their quantity of product.As to study the problem, a simulation model was developed using simulation techniques and a ProModel 4.22(Network Version) software in this project. The model developed using a process approach and the model is discrete, dynamic and stochastic. The purpose of developing this model is to conduct an experiment so that the production quantity can be estimated.The model was imitated the actual operations in cables production lines. From the results of the case study and the model developed, utilization of resources can be obtained and analyzed. The estimation of production in certain time also can be done. With the alternative model built, the problems identified in the former model can be solved, as well as the production is improved.

          The quality control process plays an important role due to produce high quality product. PERTIMA TERENGGANU SDN BHD. currently uses manual system as core manufacturing product.Several problems usually occur when this method is used during production time.The problems are defined as data quality inspection was recorded insufficiently; sizing sampling technique is not in standard form and they do not have statistic control technique to analyse product.Hence, to enhance quality of product a computerise quality control system was developed within techniques to improve quality controlling of the output. As a result, increasing the profit to maximum level with outstanding quality of product in more effective cost. This system was developed by using Visual Basic 6.0 software, Microsoft Access database and in Windows 98 platform.This system was developed by using the System Development Life Cycle methodology. Hopefully using this system will achieve the main goal that is to improve the controlling of the product quality to the higher-level stage.

In machining process,there are parameters regarding to the tool which need to be determined accurately. Mastercam is one of the CAD/CAM software, that offers various facilities to the users. This software help the user in designing and simulating parameters of machining process. This testing process call optimization. The optimization is important before the real machining process is made due to it's ability in determining the final product, ready time and the related cost. The result of optimum machining parameters obtained will be use in the real machining process.

Computerized Inventory Control Systems, which has been developed can help the management to control stock flow continuously to make sure there is no error occur in company's operation. Alwy Development Sdn. Bhd already have a problem in their inventory control. Company always has a shortage in raw material to produce company's product. But in certain condition, other material that is not needed is ordered. So, this situation might be increasing the holding cost. This problem can be solve using a computerized material requirement planning system. Least Periodic Cost (LPC) or Algorithm Silver meal was identified as a most suitable model to be implement in developing the system. The manual method has sometimes caused a few problems. To overcome this problem, concerning the inventory control,the existing manual system has to change totally to a new computerised inventory control system to ensure smoothness of the bussiness organization flow.           The Material Requirement Control System has been developed to help Rafflesia Food Trading Sdn. Bhd. in preparing an improved purchased order policy based on the Master Production Schedule and Bill of Material. The existing inventory problem is not effective order process of material for production in this company. Several models of lot sizing techniques such as Economic Order Quantity, Period Order Quantity, Lot For Lot, Least Unit Cost, Least Period Cost and Wagner Whitin Algorithm were found suitable for the cases tudy. This system has been developed using Microsoft Visual Basic Enterprise Edition Version 6.0 as a programming language application interface and Microsoft Access 7.0 as the system database. Another software used is Xara Webstyle2 to aid the design of the graphical user interface.

          An efficient and systematic inventory planning is the most essential factor which determine the up and down of an organization's business. With the latest technology development, an inventory control system using intranet is built in KOSAN Garment Industry to improve the old manual system which had high risk in data keeping,lack of security control,difficult to communicate with those who are involved in the system and hard to generate an up-to-date inventory report. This new system will also determine the quantity of item that needed to be ordered and the appropriate time to order,thus making sure that the inventory level is always optimum. This inventory control using intranet applied the Material Requirements Planning System(MRP) system because the demand for an item is directly related to the demand for other items in this factory.The lot-sizing technique used in this system is Least Period Cost Model(LPC) because it was proven can reduce the overall cost.The software used in developing the system were Visual lnterDev 6.0 with Microsoft Access 2000 as its database and Personal Web Server as the server. This system is able to generate output such as the type and the optimum quantity of item that need to be ordered at a suitable time and also the up-to-date report of item or product in stock.

          This project is a simulation assembly line for watches in EPSON Precision factory(Johor)Sdn.Bhd. at No. 31 Jalan Kempas Baru, 81200 Johor Bahru, Johor. This project focuses only on the assembly line. This assembly line is the assembly line for SEIKO watches model 5M. In the assembly line section there are a number of problems which can cause a static state in the production and this is a problem because demand are rising. The assembly line will be represented into simulated model. Experimentation for the model are done to optimized the assembly line. Tho development of this simulation model is based on the real environment and applylng it into a computerized form using the Pro-Model4.2 software. Thus the result of the simulation will give the management an alternative to enhanced the productivity and solving their problem at the same time.

Abstract

          Most companies now recognize that to be competitive in the market place they must ensure that the overwhelming majority of the items produced meet required specifications. As a consequence of this, there has been increased emphasis on systems for monotoring and maintaining quality.This research conducted at Swan(M) Sdn Bhd.is designed to review and identify the problems faced by the existing Ballpen Manual Quality Control System(BMQCS)and to design a new Computerize Ballpen Quality Control System(CBQCS).The respondent of this research is the Quality Control Engineer of the company.In order to collect the data,several interviews with the respondent and observations were made.A six-page questionnaire was also given to the respondent in order to design CBQCS.Among the problems identified are improper data storage and record,and a system,which is not user-friendly and efficient. Using the waterfall paradigma, new system CBQCS,based on the Statistical Process Control (SPC) which is more user-friendly and more added value is developed for the company. Several softwares like Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0,Macromedia Flash 5.0,Adobe Photoshop. 55,Seagate Crystal Reports and Microsoft Access 2000 were utilized in developing the CBQCS.

Abstract

          The Quality Control System is conducted to assist and solve problems that exist in the current quality control system at Kilang Bata Ismail Haji Muda SB. The current quality system in this factory is done manually. Consequently, the factory is facing a problem in recording inspected data as well as keeping in systematic data storage. Besides, sample size for inspection is difficult to determine and the problem also occured in making data analysis to obtain an accurate and quick report or result. Therefore, in order to overcome all these problems, the Quality Control System is developed by using two methods, which is the Statistical Control concept, which consists of Sampling Accurance Method that involved Single Sampling Technique. The second method is the Statiscal Process Control method (SPC), which involved histrogram, Pareto diagram and control chart and line chart. The software that is used is Delphi 6.0 and Paradox as database. The system could generate the output that has the capability to display the raw data in graphic and produce information about the quality control process and it is also capable of generating report for each process.

          Sistem kawalan kualiti berkomputer yang dibangunkan ini adalah untuk membantu Syarikat Jackwells ENTERPRISE (M) Sdn. Bhd dalam menyelesaikan masalah-masalah yang wujud dalam sistem kawalan kualiti semasanya. Bagi Syarikat Jackwells ENTERPRISE (M) Sdn. Bhd, perlaksanaan sistem kawalan kualiti sedia ada di syarikatnya adalah secara manual. Oleh demikian, timbulnya masalah dalam merekod data-data hasil pemeriksaan serta masalah dalam penyimpanan data yang tidak begitu sistematik. Disamping itu, terdapat masalah dalam penentuan saiz sampel dan kesukaran dalam penganalisaan data-data bagi menghasilkan sesuatu keputusan atau laporan yang tepat dan cepat.           Inventory Control System is one of the most important aspect in business management and expensive assets of many companies.A good and effective inventory management was recognized as crucial by operation managers around the globe. Scarcity and plentiful of goods in inventory are among some of the problems that arise due to unable to control the inventory efficient. Manual methods are slow and complicated because organization have to fill in many forms and stock card which is still being usedby. To manage Inventory System, several methods or models in inventory are applicablef or implementation. Hence,a computerized inventory control system is proposed to the Lapangan Bestari Sdn. Bhd. organization to overcome the problem occur. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) model can be applied into the system because it is able to solve the problem. Meanwhile Silver Meal model is chosen as a calculation in solving the dealing with MRP system for Lapangan Bestari Sdn. Bhd. factory. The main reason why this method is selected among the other few methods is because it is based on erratic cutomers request and to optimize the cost. This inventory control system will be developed using Microsoft Visual Basic Version 6.0 software and Microsoft Access Version 7.0 as the database. By this way, the organization can give the best service to the customers through the optimal level of inventory.

The developing of computerization quality control system can help JKR to monitor their quality control process and can control the functioning of choosing the quality materials, storing and achieving data faster and the accurate result can be analyze using quality control concepts.

          Since the early 1970S, Material Requirement Planning has become one of the most important aspects and has been used in the production industry widely. However, in the following years, more inventory system have been computerized. For the company which I choose as a case study, Delicia (M) Sdn Bhd., that produces sandwich bread as their primary product, the inventory system has been computerized and web-based. By making the system web-based,the process of ordering and production planning will always be updated. This system also includes inventory models in the system such as the Wagner-Within Algorithm and enables data transaction between department and branches involved.This system is designed based on the classical waterfall methodology. Active Server Pages(ASP) and Microsoft Access 2000 were used to develop the web-based system.

In this project development, the concept of expert system will be assimilated in to computer networks design especially into Local Area Networks (LAN) designs. Designing a Local Area Networks (LAN) is important to make sure the completeness of networks implementation. Due to the some of problem in designing network, an expert system will be build to act as an expert to give user suggestions in designing a small Local Area Networks for private computer (pc LAN). The methodology used was based on Prototype Model. Meanwhile, the tool used was Amzi! Prolog.

          Quality control is a continuos process in order to meet user requirements through the product and services that are produced. The processes are to access, maintain and to improve the products and services that are offered.This project developed to ensure the product and services that are to be produce at Creative Offset Printing (M) SDN. BHD. which is a printing factory. The current system of the quality control is analysed and it shown that the factory is having a few problems. This system also equipped with quality tools and quality circle will be applied into the management system. Using Traditional System Development methodology aided with the required hardware and software like Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2002 to develop this system. This quality control system also will improve product checkins.

For this company, th e implementation of the existing quality control system is done manually. And with the situation as it is now, the company is facing a problem in recording inspected data as well as keeping a systematic data-storage. A computerized quality control system, which uses Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as the programming language is developed to ease the decision-making and improve the product quality. The newly developed system will be based on two methods which is the Statistical Quality Control concept, which consists of Sampling Acceptance Method and the other method is the Statistical Process Control method (SPC).

So, this company needs computerized inventory control system that will enable users to go through and analyze company's inventory easily. This system use Heuristic Silver Meal Method as an inventory's model. It's combined application of two software, which are Active Server Pages and Microsoft Access 2000 as a database.

Abstract

          Inventory management is an important aspect that must be given attention by the organization to manage it systematically. Due to the importance,the Inventory Control System of University Malaya Medical Center is designed in order to manage the stocks of medicine and medical equipment systematically. This web-based Inventory Control System is developed using the Macromedia Dreamweaver 1.0 and Microsoft Access 2000 as the database engine. The methodology of the system development is based on the System Development Life Cycle (SDL) with a pattern of waterfall. The inventory model of Periodic Review System is used to determine the quantity of reorders, the target stock and safety stock level of medicine and disposable item. In addition to that, several forecasting models were tested to determine the most suitable model to forecast future demand of medicine and disposable item. Based on the demand data on medicine and disposable item collected, and after several iterations and analysis, it can be concluded that the most suitable forecasting model for medicine and disposable item is Exponential Smoothing Model.

          Inventory is the most valuable asset in any organization or company. Accurate inventory management and maintenance should be applied, so that expenditure costs can be minimized. This inventory control research has been conducted at Tokin (M) Sdn. Bhd. Company, which is located in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur. Previous research shows that the current manual inventory control system used is inconsistent and unsystematic. This company is manufacturing-based and its main products are electronic assemblies. A system using the Materials Requirement Planning methodology has been developed and implemented in this particular company to help increase the efficiency of the inventory management. MRP is used to plan the product manufacturing schedule. The system developed uses Visual Basic 6.0 software and is based on the Model Prototype Methodology.

Besides that effective storage location may lessen out the time journey for storage, acceptance and ordering.In the survey,a few approach are being studied and matched base on warehouse needs by companies Johor Port Berhad.The warehouse models used in this system are from warehouse models availables and the policy from Johor Port Berhad itself. This system is developed to help the management of Johor Port Berhad to decide and control stock items using the techniques chosen. This system is developed by using Microsoft Visual Basic language as the interface with its own database which is Microsoft Access. This programming language is chosen based on its object oriented feature and user friendly concept. Seagate Crystal Report Professional 8.0 and Microsoft Excel 2000 is also used for generating and printing the reports and doing the analysis needed by capturing the data from the database.

          The application of differential equation in engineering and science is very important. Realizing this fact, this thesis will be concerned on the solution of the simple differential with initial value i.e, Numerical Initial Value.There are a lot of methods that have been used in solving Numerical Initial Value problems.The method that going to be discussed are Euler method, Modified Euler method,Taylor method, Runge-Kutta method, Runge-Kutta higher method,Adams-Moulton method,Adam-Bashforth method, Adams predictor-corrector method and Milne-Simpson predictor-corrector method. The best method will be investigated to solve this problem.The first part of this thesis is the introduction to derivative and differential equations. Next, is the explanation of the methods, that has been used to solve Numerical Initial Value problerns. From these methods, the best method will be studied to solve Numerical Initial Value.In order to develop the system for solving Numerical Initial Value problems in Ordinary Differential Equations,the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and, Adobe Photoshop 7.0 software will be used.

          In the world of stock exchange, forecasting and market analysis are the important factor to make sure that the correct decision are taken where it is also the most profitable action for the investor. Therefore, the right forecasting methods are important to make sure the obtained results are reliable. Based on the thesis written by Syed Taha, two different type of forecasting method has been compared that is forecasting based on neural network and individual forecasting technique (Box-Jenkins approach), it was concluded that neural network is better compared to the Box-Jenkins approach. Therefore by using same case study it will focused on the price for Arabica Coffee that is being traded in the Coffee Sugar Cocoa Exchange (Syed Taha, 2000). This project will compared between neural network (Back Propagation Approach) based on the thesis written by Syed Taha and other Individual Foreeast Technique (Exponential Smoothing and Time Series Regression Technique). The target solution is to obtain the correct forecasting method and to conclude which technique is the best. The software that will be use is Statistica'99 Edition.

          The application of neural network with back propagation algorithm in field of forecasting is now widely used. However,there are few factors that must be looked into in order to produce a network that will converge and generalize. Basically the learning process of a network is influenced by value of momentum constant,learning rate parameter,number of hidden nodes and selected transfer function. Inappropriate choose of value will result in network not reaching the targeted value. Effects of data transformation and stationary data on the ability of the network to converge and generalize also will be studied. The arrival of tourist to Langkawi by ferry, cruise and flight are used as a case study for this project. Neural network models are built using Matlab 6.1 and Statistica is used to make data stationary.

           A Web Based Quality Control System is developed for Munchy Food Industries Sdn.Bhd, the manufacturer of cookies and wafer biscuits, located at Tongkang Pechah, Batu Pahat,Johor.The product under studies is the wafer biscuits.The study on the current system found that the quality control system is conducted manually.Therefore,the company facing problem in handling the quality data and difficulties in obtaining information on product quality.At present,the company does not apply any techniques in assisting product quality control system. Hence,the developed system able to overcome the current problem.The web based quality control system is built using Active Server Pages 2.0 and Macromedia Dreamweaver UtraDev 4.0. Process based on sampling acceptance method which involves in sampling techniques and statistical process control (SPC)tools such as histograms, pareto chart,linear chart and control chart are applied in the system.The developed system capable to provide the information related to quality control process,such as determine the sample size,generate reports for each process as required.In addition,the system ease the managementto retreive and sharing data.

          Purpose of this project is to examine control quality systsm of Syarikat Petrochemicals(M)Sdn Bhd.Most of the control quality system of this firm are done by manual and only a few are using computer system.Now the computer system is only use by management staff for reference. All of input data are already record by management staff based on item list in writing from staff of quality department.The computer system is not generate any graph based on input data.Management staff will take more time to receive information about data of the product for everyday.Sometimes the data are lost and this problem will in a bad situation.The problem can solve by using control quality concept like sampling and statistically process control.By using the control quality solving,it can determine position of all process and make a faster and exact decision analysis base on suitable graph.

          Finite element method is a numerical analysis technique f r obtaining approximate solutions to a wide variety of engineering problems. A finite element method application have been developed for a Master's Project in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering using FORTRAN77 progamming language. Because of input data for that application require a lot of numbers, therefore developing an input data file manually for that application consume a lot of time and vulnerable to input value mistakes. It is also hard for an engineer to trace such mistake manually. Thus, this project have been introduced to develop a user-friendly application to produce the required input file for the Finite Element Method application. It is an interactive application so that user can verify that all input datas are valid for the Finite Element Method apptication. This system can also visualize the results of analysis from the application. This project is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.

Most of the software at the market is developed for primary and secondary school but this software is created for University student. As we know, learning by text book still be using until now. By using text book, all the example and exercise are limited and it can't show the animation of the coordinate transformation. In this project, it will show the animation of the transformation process and the learning environment will become more fun. Object Oriented and Design will be used as a system design while UMI, method as a modeling of system. Besides that Prototype Model is the software life cycle paradigm that has been chosen to develop the software. Software of Visual Basic 6.0 will be used to develop this system.

The system will replace the manual inventory system that is used at present to assist the administration in handling their inventory management.Material Requirement planning (MRp) is adopted as an inventory control approach because the items selected in this inventory control are the raw material required to build the product . The Least Unit cost, Least period cost and Least Total Cosl techniques are implemented to determine the ordered lot sizing, in order to get the most optimized raw material ordered table.The system was developed using Active Server Pages(ASP) and Microsort Dreamweaver MX. software and Microsoft Access 2000 as the database. Apart from the optimized order table, this system allows more efficient communication between the client and the supplier.

Simulasi Baris Pembuatan Plastik Minyak Masak Di Kilang Anuza Sdn. Bhd.


Abstract

          A product fabrication line simulation project has been conducted at Anuza Sdn. Bhd., Lot PT 1306 Seksyen 44, Kawasan Perindustrian Pengkalan Chepa II, 16100 Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This simulation study is focused on fabrication line of cooking oil plastic. The main problem that encountered in the study is the organization cannot reach the target set by the management. The project conducted in conjunction of estimating quantity of cooking oil plastic produced within 24 hours work. All processes involves in product processing, from the mixing of raw material up to the packaging of product, will be modelled. The simulation output shows that the estimate value of production is 1549 unit and defective product is 39.933. Others system performances such as the statistic of machines and operator utilization also can be obtained from the simulation output. The operator utilization at substation Penyimpanan Sementaro Gelendung is highest that is 98.26 percent, compared to the operator utilization at station Penyemakan Saiz that is 48.94 percent. Therefore, an alternative model is developed in which the number of operator at substation Penyimpanan Sementara Gelendung and station Pembungkusan Produk is increased to 2 operators. Add to that,the work schedule is also modified, where it has 2 different lunch break, dinner and supper. The output of the alternative model has shown an improvement where the number of production has increased to 1918.73 which is 30 percent higher than the original model. The methodology adopted in this study is simulation approach, while the software used is ProModel Network Yersion 4.22.

Pengoptimuman Kod Kawalan Berangka Pembuatan Buah Catur Kuda


Abstract

          Automatic numerical control code computation by CAD/CAM system is Widely being use in manufacturing sector. However, the code itself is generated for general purposes without specializing to any subjected machine. Thus, numerical control programmer takes longer time to edit the codes manually. Therefor, by using virtual CNC arded software, editing and 3D animation for some machine can be completed. The objective of this research is to develop an optimun numerical control codes by using CNC software and to make a simulation and animation of processes based on product machining. Knight chess piece is selected as the product of this project. The numerical control code will be compute by using Mastercam software and the generated code will set off through an editing process. Furthemore, the code will be used as an input for the verifi6aiton process via V-CNC software to ensure its optimization. A few processes.will be made to generate the numerical control code under a number of phases that is design phase, numerical control code computation. phase, numerical control code editing phase, simulation phase, and inspection and compare phase. The output of this project is to generate an optimal numerical control code with its simulation result and the animation of its machining processes of the knight chess piece. The numerical control code is already being tested through V¬CNC to demonstrate that the optimized code can be used by the real CNC machine.

These projects have the basic information about the robot arm and can help users to understand the robot arm movement. The project will be developed using visual Basic software an OpenGL. This system is developed for the purpose of getting immediate and easy result and comparison whereby the product would produce result equivalent to that of the actual object.In addition,this prototype would be able to increase understanding with regard to the distinction between theorem and formulas being used in any solid geometry. This system has been developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and based on prototype approach.

This was because not all knows about the needs of the insurance. lnsurance was practically concept which its must used by people to fill up the financial need. In the event of your untimely death they can be confident of maintaning the lifestyle to which the are accustomed. This system are based on case study Malaysia National Insurance (MNl) company and for only two scheme which is Bonus Extra Enhanced and MNI Twin Special. In this development system, we are focused on the planner and the security of billing and authentication using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) concept. We can't run from anything that we don't want will happen, so the beginning steps is to provide insurance in our life. In computing technology, the development of this system is one of the advantage for user. The main aplication modul in this projects were planner modul which is with execution of the planner, one statistic will be given to conduct user to sort out in insurance. Scheme choose using calculator, generate graf and explaination will be found in planner modul. The billing system was also developt for this system in term of user facilities. The Active Sever Page (ASP) has been be used on development of this systems. Besides that, Frontpage were used for the interface, Microsoft Visual Basic 6 for developed the calculator and Microsoft access for the database.

As such an inventory control system based on web is developed for Aqidmatin Industries Sdn Bhd. Based on the data analysisd one,an inventory model for dependent demand is chosen to be incorporated in the system.Besides managing and confrolling inventory level, this system can be accessed anywhere by just surfing the Internet. The purpose of this system development is to manage the inventory activity, and to assist the Management Department to plan the need of raw materials and to minimize the costs.Besides that, this system is able to generate a report on time and determine the quantity of products and raw materials that have to be ordered and produced for a period. This system is developed using the Microsoft Visual InterDev ciersion 6.0, HTML Language, Active server Page (ASp) and Microsoft Access 2000 for the database.

          The importance of understanding numerical integration in science and engineering is undeniable, but the fact of the matter is, most students find learning numerical integration is difficult. To solve this problem, and to ease future learning, this project is focused on creating a prototype numerical integration learning program. This project will guide the user through the Rectangular, Trapezoidal, Simpson, Romberg and Gauss methods. It is divided into four parts. The first part contains notes and instructions on how to solve numerical integration problems. The second part contains exercises on what has been taught in the first part. The third part will put the users skill and knowledge to the test through a series of quizzes. The final part enables the user to input their own equations which the system will solve for them. This project will be developed using the Waterfall method paradigm and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 software .

Hopefully, this system can help the company to improve the quality of their products. The system has an integrated database to overcome data accessibility problem in the manual system. Besides, it also eases the process of sharing information in various departments and enables quality control reports to be generated on time.           Flood is one of the major natural disasters in Malaysia. This tragedy causes invaluable loss in terms of lives and economy especially in the agricultural sector. One good example was flood tragedy at Kangkar Pulai, Johan We as human beings are not capable to prevent this phenomenwtotally but we are able at least to forecast the next tragedy before it occurs by creating a suitable flood forecasting model according to the sum of rainfall. Hence, a flood forecast analyois as according to the rainfall readings shall be produced using the Box- Jenkins methOdology and so a suitable model for rainfall can be obtained. The data for the forecasting shall be obtained from the Hydrological and Water Resource Division, Department of Drainage and litigation. To develope this project, the STATISTICA package is+ used in the forfeasting analysis.

          Using computer technologies in producing engineering product design growth rapidly with the emerging of CAD, CAM, CAE and V-CNC. CAM system is a modern technique that able to improve capability,efficiency and quality in engineering and manufacturing activities.In manufacturing industry,conventional and prototype method need to produce engineering product will cause consuming time, raw material, and high capital cost. So, this project is mainly to optimize parameters values in fabricating base rotary using Edge CAM 7.5 software. Furthermore the data results are compared with the result from Mastercam and,actual machining process, Microsoft Excel wills is used to analyze all data from machine parameter.At the ends of research,the results Edge CAM 7.5 we compared to the previous machining analyst data using Mastercam 8.1 software to find the different between them. As a conclusion from this research,it hope that the end result of this project will help manufacturing industries and engineering to produce a new product with better quality in shorter lead time and minimum cost.

          Laporan ini adalah untuk mencadangkan pembangunan sebuah sistem pengurusan penyelenggaraan untuk kegunaan pihak Badische Anilin & Soda Fabric (BASF) Sdn. Bhd. di Pasir Gudang. Sistem ini adalah untuk memudahkan aktiviti- aktiviti penyelenggaraan Vertical Centrifugal Pump P-850 (VCP P-850) dilakukan berpandukan pada rekod-rekod lepas yang telah dimasukkan ke dalam pangkalan data dan telah ditukarkan ke bentuk lain seperti graf, carta bar dan sebagainya. Selain itu, ia juga adalah untuk memaksimumkan keboleharapan pam di samping mengurangkan kos yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan seperti pembelian komponen baru, penukaran pam baru atau kos penyelenggaraan yang lain. Keputusan analisa data yang dibuat adalah berdasarkan kepada pemilihan model-model penyelenggaraan seperti model penggantian (replacement), kadar kegagalan (failure rate) dan Purata Masa Antara Kegagalan (MTBF). Sistem yang bakal dibangunkan ini juga akan menggunakan perisian Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 untuk rekabentuk antaramuka, Microsoft Access 2000 untuk pangkalan data, Microsoft Excel 2000 untuk menjanakan graf dan perisian-perisian lain bagi melengkapkan lagi pembangunan sistem. Kesimpulannya, adalah diharapkan agar projek ini dapat membantu pihak BASF Sdn. Bhd. dalam membuat keputusan berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan Vertical Centrifugal Pump P-850 (VCP P-850) yang ada.
