Abstract
A good inventory control system can provides a systematic and efficient inventory system management for maintaining and controlling goods to be stocked. The system is responsible in keeping track of the input and output stocks,timing the order placement, provide the best ordering policies and restore others business information. The purpose of this project is to develop an Inventory Control System for Babena Dagangan(TRG) Sdn. Bhd (BDTSB).Hopefully,this product can assist BDTSB to overcome the problems of stock controlling and goods ordering which is in current not being managed systematically.Based on the research, goods involved are independent between all of the items and uncertainty exists in goods demand, Therefore, a suitable approach to overcome this situation includes Periodic Review System(PRS).The system will be developed by using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 software and Microsoft Access 97 database. The project also developed based on System Development Life Cycle(SDLC) methodology.
