Sistem Kawalan Kualiti Pembuatan Plastik di PETROCHEMICALS(M) SDN.BHD


Abstract

          Purpose of this project is to examine control quality systsm of Syarikat Petrochemicals(M)Sdn Bhd.Most of the control quality system of this firm are done by manual and only a few are using computer system.Now the computer system is only use by management staff for reference. All of input data are already record by management staff based on item list in writing from staff of quality department.The computer system is not generate any graph based on input data.Management staff will take more time to receive information about data of the product for everyday.Sometimes the data are lost and this problem will in a bad situation.The problem can solve by using control quality concept like sampling and statistically process control.By using the control quality solving,it can determine position of all process and make a faster and exact decision analysis base on suitable graph.

Abstract

          Finite element method is a numerical analysis technique f r obtaining approximate solutions to a wide variety of engineering problems. A finite element method application have been developed for a Master's Project in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering using FORTRAN77 progamming language. Because of input data for that application require a lot of numbers, therefore developing an input data file manually for that application consume a lot of time and vulnerable to input value mistakes. It is also hard for an engineer to trace such mistake manually. Thus, this project have been introduced to develop a user-friendly application to produce the required input file for the Finite Element Method application. It is an interactive application so that user can verify that all input datas are valid for the Finite Element Method apptication. This system can also visualize the results of analysis from the application. This project is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.

          Nowadays CAD/CAM plays a main role in producing a high quality product. CAD/CAM also helps in producing machining program and work material which are the-remover of-product engineering work flow. The usage and choices of suitable cutting tools and parameters in production process will produce not only a quality product but also a quality organization. A conventional system to determine the suitable cutting tool and parameters are using a book as a reference. In this new information technology era, a suitable cutting tool and parameters can be define by using a computer.In this open system, Visual Basic has been choose because of the performance and compatibility with this open system. In Spite of that, Visual Basic has become a popular software among professional system developer. This open system can be developing using Visual Basic software which can produce an interactive GUI to be use by user. When this open system was produce, manufacturing process will fully be computerized. With the usage of this open system, hope it will make the wide usage of CAD/CAM system and turning/lathe machine.

          Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) of 2 Dimension Coordinate Transformation is a learning software tilt include transformation process for obtaining precise coordinate. CAI is learning method that used to attract user to learn this topic. Most of the software at the market is developed for primary and secondary school but this software is created for University student. As we know, learning by text book still be using until now. By using text book, all the example and exercise are limited and it can't show the animation of the coordinate transformation. In this project, it will show the animation of the transformation process and the learning environment will become more fun. Object Oriented and Design will be used as a system design while UMI, method as a modeling of system. Besides that Prototype Model is the software life cycle paradigm that has been chosen to develop the software. Software of Visual Basic 6.0 will be used to develop this system.

Abstract

          The purpose of this project is to develop a web based Material Requirement Planning(MRP) system for FIMA Mr. Juicy Sdn.Bhd. The system will replace the manual inventory system that is used at present to assist the administration in handling their inventory management.Material Requirement planning (MRp) is adopted as an inventory control approach because the items selected in this inventory control are the raw material required to build the product . The Least Unit cost, Least period cost and Least Total Cosl techniques are implemented to determine the ordered lot sizing, in order to get the most optimized raw material ordered table.The system was developed using Active Server Pages(ASP) and Microsort Dreamweaver MX. software and Microsoft Access 2000 as the database. Apart from the optimized order table, this system allows more efficient communication between the client and the supplier.

Sistem Laluan Bersepadu Semenanjung Malaysia telah dibangunkan secara berkomputer dengan objektif untuk mencari laluan yang memberikim jarak yang paling minimum dengan kadar perjalanan yang menjimatican: kos serta memaparkan tempat-tempat menarik. Antaramuka sistem ini dthasilkan dengan menggunakan antaramuka ,bergra.fik yang mampu berinteraksi dengan pengguna secara mudah iaitu Visual Basic 6.0 dan Microsoft Access 1997. Algoritma Floyd-Warshall telah dipilih untuk menyelesaikan masalah bagi mencari laluan yang paling minimum. Di samping itu, Model Air Terjun dijadikan sebagai metodologi pembangunan sistem. Perlaksanann sistem ini diharp dapat membantu pengguna membuat pilihan terbaik dalam membuat perjalanan.

Simulasi Baris Pembuatan Plastik Minyak Masak Di Kilang Anuza Sdn. Bhd.


Abstract

          A product fabrication line simulation project has been conducted at Anuza Sdn. Bhd., Lot PT 1306 Seksyen 44, Kawasan Perindustrian Pengkalan Chepa II, 16100 Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This simulation study is focused on fabrication line of cooking oil plastic. The main problem that encountered in the study is the organization cannot reach the target set by the management. The project conducted in conjunction of estimating quantity of cooking oil plastic produced within 24 hours work. All processes involves in product processing, from the mixing of raw material up to the packaging of product, will be modelled. The simulation output shows that the estimate value of production is 1549 unit and defective product is 39.933. Others system performances such as the statistic of machines and operator utilization also can be obtained from the simulation output. The operator utilization at substation Penyimpanan Sementaro Gelendung is highest that is 98.26 percent, compared to the operator utilization at station Penyemakan Saiz that is 48.94 percent. Therefore, an alternative model is developed in which the number of operator at substation Penyimpanan Sementara Gelendung and station Pembungkusan Produk is increased to 2 operators. Add to that,the work schedule is also modified, where it has 2 different lunch break, dinner and supper. The output of the alternative model has shown an improvement where the number of production has increased to 1918.73 which is 30 percent higher than the original model. The methodology adopted in this study is simulation approach, while the software used is ProModel Network Yersion 4.22.

Pengoptimuman Kod Kawalan Berangka Pembuatan Buah Catur Kuda


Abstract

          Automatic numerical control code computation by CAD/CAM system is Widely being use in manufacturing sector. However, the code itself is generated for general purposes without specializing to any subjected machine. Thus, numerical control programmer takes longer time to edit the codes manually. Therefor, by using virtual CNC arded software, editing and 3D animation for some machine can be completed. The objective of this research is to develop an optimun numerical control codes by using CNC software and to make a simulation and animation of processes based on product machining. Knight chess piece is selected as the product of this project. The numerical control code will be compute by using Mastercam software and the generated code will set off through an editing process. Furthemore, the code will be used as an input for the verifi6aiton process via V-CNC software to ensure its optimization. A few processes.will be made to generate the numerical control code under a number of phases that is design phase, numerical control code computation. phase, numerical control code editing phase, simulation phase, and inspection and compare phase. The output of this project is to generate an optimal numerical control code with its simulation result and the animation of its machining processes of the knight chess piece. The numerical control code is already being tested through V¬CNC to demonstrate that the optimized code can be used by the real CNC machine.

          This project is concern about the simulation of the Mitsubishi Rv-2AJ robot arm. This simulation can help people to study the movement of the robot arm. The movement also including the calculation of robot arm forward kinematics. Forward kinematics is the value of the random degree to produce the coordinates for the robot's grippers. These projects have the basic information about the robot arm and can help users to understand the robot arm movement. The project will be developed using visual Basic software an OpenGL. Hopefully this system can reach the goal and giving a lot of knowledge for the people.

          In going through the era of information technology or IT, various facilities and sophisticated applications have been invented correspondence with the effort for further development of the industry.As a result, an important application known as Computer Aided Instruction(CAI) was made available today for the purpose of easy learning.This project is developed for the purpose of producing prototype software in solid geometry product based on lower and higher level syllabus. This system is developed for the purpose of getting immediate and easy result and comparison whereby the product would produce result equivalent to that of the actual object.In addition,this prototype would be able to increase understanding with regard to the distinction between theorem and formulas being used in any solid geometry. This system has been developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and based on prototype approach.

This was because not all knows about the needs of the insurance. lnsurance was practically concept which its must used by people to fill up the financial need. In the event of your untimely death they can be confident of maintaning the lifestyle to which the are accustomed. This system are based on case study Malaysia National Insurance (MNl) company and for only two scheme which is Bonus Extra Enhanced and MNI Twin Special. In this development system, we are focused on the planner and the security of billing and authentication using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) concept. We can't run from anything that we don't want will happen, so the beginning steps is to provide insurance in our life. In computing technology, the development of this system is one of the advantage for user. The main aplication modul in this projects were planner modul which is with execution of the planner, one statistic will be given to conduct user to sort out in insurance. Scheme choose using calculator, generate graf and explaination will be found in planner modul. The billing system was also developt for this system in term of user facilities. The Active Sever Page (ASP) has been be used on development of this systems. Besides that, Frontpage were used for the interface, Microsoft Visual Basic 6 for developed the calculator and Microsoft access for the database.

As such an inventory control system based on web is developed for Aqidmatin Industries Sdn Bhd. Based on the data analysisd one,an inventory model for dependent demand is chosen to be incorporated in the system.Besides managing and confrolling inventory level, this system can be accessed anywhere by just surfing the Internet. The purpose of this system development is to manage the inventory activity, and to assist the Management Department to plan the need of raw materials and to minimize the costs.Besides that, this system is able to generate a report on time and determine the quantity of products and raw materials that have to be ordered and produced for a period. This system is developed using the Microsoft Visual InterDev ciersion 6.0, HTML Language, Active server Page (ASp) and Microsoft Access 2000 for the database.

          The importance of understanding numerical integration in science and engineering is undeniable, but the fact of the matter is, most students find learning numerical integration is difficult. To solve this problem, and to ease future learning, this project is focused on creating a prototype numerical integration learning program. This project will guide the user through the Rectangular, Trapezoidal, Simpson, Romberg and Gauss methods. It is divided into four parts. The first part contains notes and instructions on how to solve numerical integration problems. The second part contains exercises on what has been taught in the first part. The third part will put the users skill and knowledge to the test through a series of quizzes. The final part enables the user to input their own equations which the system will solve for them. This project will be developed using the Waterfall method paradigm and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 software .

This system is based on quality control concept of information AQL and graphics statistical control techniques such as histogram, control chart and Pareto chart. Hopefully, this system can help the company to improve the quality of their products. The system has an integrated database to overcome data accessibility problem in the manual system. Besides, it also eases the process of sharing information in various departments and enables quality control reports to be generated on time. This system is developed using the Dreamweaver ultradev 4, HTML Language, Active Server Page (ASP) and Microsoft Access 2000 for the database.

          Flood is one of the major natural disasters in Malaysia. This tragedy causes invaluable loss in terms of lives and economy especially in the agricultural sector. One good example was flood tragedy at Kangkar Pulai, Johan We as human beings are not capable to prevent this phenomenwtotally but we are able at least to forecast the next tragedy before it occurs by creating a suitable flood forecasting model according to the sum of rainfall. Hence, a flood forecast analyois as according to the rainfall readings shall be produced using the Box- Jenkins methOdology and so a suitable model for rainfall can be obtained. The data for the forecasting shall be obtained from the Hydrological and Water Resource Division, Department of Drainage and litigation. To develope this project, the STATISTICA package is+ used in the forfeasting analysis.

Abstract

          Using computer technologies in producing engineering product design growth rapidly with the emerging of CAD, CAM, CAE and V-CNC. CAM system is a modern technique that able to improve capability,efficiency and quality in engineering and manufacturing activities.In manufacturing industry,conventional and prototype method need to produce engineering product will cause consuming time, raw material, and high capital cost. So, this project is mainly to optimize parameters values in fabricating base rotary using Edge CAM 7.5 software. Furthermore the data results are compared with the result from Mastercam and,actual machining process, Microsoft Excel wills is used to analyze all data from machine parameter.At the ends of research,the results Edge CAM 7.5 we compared to the previous machining analyst data using Mastercam 8.1 software to find the different between them. As a conclusion from this research,it hope that the end result of this project will help manufacturing industries and engineering to produce a new product with better quality in shorter lead time and minimum cost.

          Laporan ini adalah untuk mencadangkan pembangunan sebuah sistem pengurusan penyelenggaraan untuk kegunaan pihak Badische Anilin & Soda Fabric (BASF) Sdn. Bhd. di Pasir Gudang. Sistem ini adalah untuk memudahkan aktiviti- aktiviti penyelenggaraan Vertical Centrifugal Pump P-850 (VCP P-850) dilakukan berpandukan pada rekod-rekod lepas yang telah dimasukkan ke dalam pangkalan data dan telah ditukarkan ke bentuk lain seperti graf, carta bar dan sebagainya. Selain itu, ia juga adalah untuk memaksimumkan keboleharapan pam di samping mengurangkan kos yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan seperti pembelian komponen baru, penukaran pam baru atau kos penyelenggaraan yang lain. Keputusan analisa data yang dibuat adalah berdasarkan kepada pemilihan model-model penyelenggaraan seperti model penggantian (replacement), kadar kegagalan (failure rate) dan Purata Masa Antara Kegagalan (MTBF). Sistem yang bakal dibangunkan ini juga akan menggunakan perisian Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 untuk rekabentuk antaramuka, Microsoft Access 2000 untuk pangkalan data, Microsoft Excel 2000 untuk menjanakan graf dan perisian-perisian lain bagi melengkapkan lagi pembangunan sistem.           Identifying outlier is a fundamental stepi n the regression model building process. Outlying observation should be identified because of their potential effect on the fitted model.As a result of the need to identifu outliers,numerous outlying measures are built. Graph technique in exploratory data analysis is one graphical method to identify outlier for data.However these outlying measures work well when a regression data set contains only a single outlying point and it is well established that regression real data sets may have multiple outlying observations that individually are not easy identified by the same measures. Sebert et. al (1998) proposed clustering methodolory to identify multiple outlying observations bay utilizing the standardized predicted and residuals value from least square fit. Two techniques on classic data sets and research data set. S-Plus package will be used for this analysis.

Abstract

          The used of inventory system become more relevant to organization to help them managing their inventory efficiently. The sistem Kawalan Inventori Berasaskan Web Di Cawangan Melaka requires a systematic management because it can help an organization of myNEWS.com in term of earning the maximum profit. In addition, it could help the organization make an optimum ordering size and decreasing the return value( magazines unsold are return to the supplier). Through this project, research has been conduct in order to help one company, called myNEWS.com (Malacca branch) in organizing their inventory. The manual system that they used right now can't help them in accessing data more easily and they found difficult to determine an optimum ordering size. This system applied an independend demand system approach while the Newsboy Problem mthod has been identified to be used in the system development. An online system will be developed use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, and Adobe Photoshopg 8.0 in order to design the interface, PHP as the platform and MySQL supports its database.

          Recently,the number of production-based industries with a systematic planning in inventory control system is increasing. This system helps these organizations to improve their inventory in order to maximize profit as well as minimizing the costs involved in production.There are several planning techniques in inventory control that can be choose and implemented by the organization according to the needs in managing their inventory,such as the Material Requirement Planning(MRP).This project is about developing software of MRP particularly for the small and medium enterprises(SME), which produce a food-based product.The focused is SME in the region of Johor Bahru. Generally,the SME are rapidly developed including the small size and suburb industries in Malaysia.This final report consists of chapters,which will elaborate on organization problems,background study, literature study, methodology,hardware and software that had been used in developing the MRP software. Hopefully, this software can be used as an automation-helping tool in planning material needed for the production and will contribute to the development of SME thus, enhancing the country's economy.

Sistem Pensaizan Lot:Kapasiti Tanpa Kekangan Dan Berkekangan


Abstract

          Inventory control plays an important role in the management of raw material and related components in the induetrial sector especially in the production industry. A good inventory control system will ensure that the items in stock are always at an optimal level, so that the production activities can be carried out as planned. However, it is now recognized that the lot sizing of the items has to consider the limited capacity of the production facility simultareously. Therefore, this project is targeted at producing lot size schedule capacity without constraint and with constraint system is implemented using linear Programming Technique(Lp) seven other techniques in Discrete Demand system, and also Economic order Quantity (EOQ) technique which is a part of static Demand system.This system is developed using Protogtpe Methodology.The software's used for this system are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Aceess and Microsort Visual Basic 6.0 programming language. Result from all of these techniques will be compared for the best technique selection.As conclusion, this system developed to get the best resurt for lot sizing scheduling in industial sector based on the technique is implemented.

Sistem Penentuan Saiz Storan Gas Petroleum Cecair


Abstract

          Storage is a temporary gas keeping place before being supplied to customers to balance the supply and demand. Hence,the size of a storage is an important factor to be given early consideration before designing the supply system of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). There are two methods currently used in determining the storage size of LPG namely Vaporization Method and Empherical Method which are previously implemented manually and had causing calculation errors.To overcome this problem, a computerized system called the System of Storage Size Determination of Liquefied Petroleum Gas is developed by using Borland Delphi 5.0 software based on Vaporization Method and the Empherical Method. The result obtained from this system is a report showing the values for size i.e. the diameter, length, volume and reloading duration time of tank. The methodology of project development for this system is Waterfall Model. This project gains the cooperation from Technology Gas Centre, Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Hopefully, the system developed is capable to be commercialized in the industrial sector of gas storage.

It means that, the system will assist the user to manage the data such as updating or delete data directly system. It also provides services to allow the outlets to place an via online order. This web base inventory system was to assist the managemen to manage their inventory with more systematic and efficiency. The software which used in developing this system were Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Macromedia Flash MX and Microsoft Access 2003 as a database.

          Inventory control is a process, technique and also a continuous activity that used to control and manage the inventory so that stocks will be in a good condition.The main problem facing by Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) is the organization are not able to calculate the most effective solution in ordering products from Main Depo in Selayang because all stock's transaction are fully done in manual.The organization also does not use any technique or method to determine the inventory flow in the existing system. Thus, a Computerized Inventory Control System is developed in order to facilitate the stock's management system so that it will be more systematic and efficient using the Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) approach.The scope for the study of this system will only focus on the product that had been analized using ABC Analysis while the lot sizing technique that will be taken in consideration is Wagner Whitin Algorithm. The methodology used in developing this system is Waterfall methodology whereas the softwares involved are Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 used for the coding with Microsoft Access as a database.While Adobe Photoshop 6.0 as a user-friendly interface design.This system is hoped to manage Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority's inventory effectively.

          This scheduling system is a computerize system that can generate workers schedule that are efficient and in order. The system is made especially for workers at Park and Recreation Department, MPK. The problems from the manual system like overlapping working area and assignment always appeared and causes distract for the assignment.The main purposed of the system is to overcome the problems. Objective of the system is to facilitate supervisor to generate schedule.The Coloring Graph Technique and Genetic Algorithm were used to generate the schedule. Therefore, object-oriented method is used while developing this system because this method is suitable to develop web based system. Software like Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 and PHP script has been used to generate the system and MySql as the database of the system. Hope this system can bring benefit for the organization, student and university.

So, for this reason, the web-based robot controller system is designed with the implementation of the Mitsubishi Robot RV-2AJ's robot in the Computer Integrated Manufacturing lab, PPI Deparfrnent, FSKSM. The main objectives for the project are to give an exposure and some knowledge to the PPl student and anybody else about the technologies. It also to simulate the tele-robotic system that been used in the industrial site. This system will be develop using the integration of MELFA PC Tool and Microsoft Visual Basics 6.0 with the use of TCP/IP internet protocol. Hopefully, this system will be beneficial and can be guidance on how the tele-robotic worked based on the latest computers and robots technolory.

Abstract

          Water is of the essential needs for growth and global development. Bigger numbers of population and industrialization leads to greater usage of water. As we march to the area of modernization, actions must be considered to maintain the quality and quality of water for the use of future generation. This project is intended to forecast the limit of water consumption in the state of Perlis by using Box-Jenkins and Neural Network Model. The main purpose of doing this research project is to help the management in order to ensure that water supply will not be interrupted. The interruption is predicted to be one of the major effects during drought where it is commonly known that during this period residents will be supplied by only least amount of water throughout the area. All the information pertaining to the percentage of water usage (1997-2002) can be derived from Perlis Public Works Department,Water Supply unit, whereas the percentage o f rain (1997-2002) will be available from Meteorological Service department Mata Ayer,perlis. In order to decide which of two models is preferable to determine the percentage of water usage in Perlis, results from both method will be considered and compared. STATISTICA 6.0 and NeuralWorks profesional II Plus are used for developing models. From the comparison we find that result given by Box-Jenkins is better than Neural Network. Autoregressive(7) and Autoregressive(9), which is respectively represents model for water usage and rain to make prediction for two years ahead.

(AFSB) Garbage Truck is a system that solves unorganized and manual scheduling problem for drivers, workers and garbage trucks to a pick-up area. Beside that, operating as an online application, the system's purpose is to make reaching, saving and updating process for garbage truck data became easier and less hassle. The scheduling system uses Constraint Satisfaction Problem under constraint programming method. The system also employs PHP technology to develop a website which will also be supported by MySQL software as a database. Unified Modeling Language (UML) also taken as notation language for this project development methodology. The development of this system uses iterative model as paradigm and object oriented methodology.I t is a great hope that with the successfulness of this project,the workloads distribution for drivers, workers, and garbage trucks would be more balanced an the work management would be more systematic.

          Forecasting on disease is really important to many parties especially the Ministry of Health to ensure that the people in Malaysia are in the satisfied level of health. Forecasting also can help the Ministry of Health and all the hospital in Malaysia to provide facilities for patient comfy and to prepare for the disease that infects the Malaysian in the future. This research is done in Kapit Hospital to analyze and forecast the increasing number of disease that infects the people around Kapit Division. For that, the project development that is based on the forecasting model with Box-Jenkins Method is hope to assist the process of analyze and forecast the disease based on data for five years that are from 1999 until 2003. Forecasting model with Box-Jenkins Method were developed using the STATISTICA version 5.5 software. In this research, five forecasting models were developing for each disease. This research is done to forecast the number of patient for one year ahead that infects by the five diseases. Overall, the result shows the increasement in the number of patient that will be infected by dengue, heart disease and diabetes mellitus, while the number of tubercle bacilli patient will be declined. The forecasting also shows that the number of the malaria patient will be in a random situation that is either increase or decline.

          Forecasting is the art and science of predicting future events.It may involve taking historical data and projecting them into the future with some sort of mathematical model.Thus,Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Selangor(JPNS)is chosen to forecast the number of form one students in Selangor. The objective of the project is to help JPNS in planning the needs of teaching and studying process for the students. Besides,it is also to forecast the district possessing the highest number of form one students. To realize the project success,the statistic data for the past 25 years from 1980 until 2004 are used.Simple regression analysis and Box-Jenkins methods are used in this project. Whilst, the software to be applied is Statistica version 6.0. The result obtained from this project enable JPNS to conduct early planning in taking the best action to provide facilities properly.

The main inventory problem in MET is the absence of computer usage as well as the inventory information that is less systematic. This system used waterfall method for case of designing. ASP programming language and Microsoft Access has been used as tools for developed the system. The system have been tested based on least unit cost and least period cost model. Inventory control with MRP method is suitable because it gave the best cost for each of MET item.

          Simulation is a process of imitating a system in real world through modeling. Building a simulation model is important to picture the actual behavior and activities of real system into computer model. This simulation project is conducted at Takeuchi MDF Sdn. Bhd., which is situated at 11 1/2 Miles along Jalan Masai, Masai, Johor. This simulation project is focused on all the involved process of MDF production. The purpose of this production line simulation is to imitate the actual behavior and to estimate the MDF production to reach the target set by the management. Discrete, dynamic and stochastic simulation methodology is used and process approach is also a part of this simulation study. The simulation model has been developed by using simulation package called ProModel 4.22 (network version) The execution of this simulation has generated statistic output such as totals of product, defective product and percentages of operator utilization for 24 hours. Result from this study will help the management by propose another alternative to overcome the weaknesses exist in the current production system.

          The well-planned road network is the catalyst to the economic growth and development of a country. High traffic volume may cause instability in traffic flow and may lead to the road accidents.Therefore,in order to reduce the heavy traffic and road accidents,the information about the volume of daily road traffic such as which road is the most congested and when it happened have to be predicted.Hence, Box-Jenkins approached and Statistica 6.0 was used in this project. The data used in this project is the 16 hours volume of daily traffic data,which is collected in March. These data were obtained from 9 censuses stations in Kulim/Bandar Baharu. The output of this project can assist the Public Worker department to identify the most congested road within 9 censuses stations and peak hours for each station. According to this information also, they can do further expansion,upgrading and make improvement of country's networks of infrastructure.

          This research is about the development of an analyst system on the finite element (FEM) using meshing technique. The main function of the system is to do the subdivision analysis by plotting nodes which will generate the elements on the geometry object. The analysis will not only ensure that the meshing technique visuallize the shape ofthe geometry object and its boundary but also to allow the variation of nodes function which is almost similar which is determined while meshing is done. The development will show us one of the main process involved before an analysis can be done on an object such as stess and strain test. The system will also use the basic algorithm to generate the elements and algorithm using priority function. The final result of the analysis will improve our understanding of the importance of meshing technique in engineering field. This system is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and the methodology applied is the Prototype methodology.

Concept or theory of Expert System can become one approach in dealing with dependence of expert mechanic about the car fault happen. Generally, the function of car diagnosis using the concept of Expert System is for helping the driver (car user). In this project, user will answer some question in Yes or No answer which asks from the system about the fault car problem. At the last result, the source of the fault will be show. If the faults are not too heavy or difficult, steps of maintenance about the fault can be getting from the system. To build this system, the application of Backward Chaining will be use including Best-First Search strategy to control the main concept expert system. To control the way of build this system, the Waterfall Model (SDLC) is use as the methodology. To complete this system, the desicion support system will develop using the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 software to make the programming for the system.

Chain code has to be visualize so thit an algorithm can be built to read and give an understanding about the chain code. Because of that, one system has been develop to produce an algorithm and an interface that can be used to read, analyze and visualize the various of shape by using a chain code. The various of shape that has been produce in the is using a Freeman Chain Code two dimension as an input in the form of integer. This system use text file as the input of the system. The text file is filled with a list of two dimension chain code. Various of shape that li6.ve been produce can be view in two dimension. Methodology that has been use to develop this system is water fall model. This system has been develop by using software Borland C++5.02 and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Through the output that has been produce like the cube, L block and stair, the characteristic of chain code can be visualize as one of the data representation that can reduce the space of storage. Hope through this system development, the interface that has been produce can be used to read and visualize the chain code in the graphic output.

          The Management System of Oil Palm was built to create the analysis against tree census and yield data of oil palm based on blocks and year. Moreover the system can also generate yield data report and tree census report towards this analysis. The user might obtain information about tree census data such as number of live tree, dead tree, mature tree and so on. For the analysis of yield data,the user might obtain information like monthly yield of blocks and annual yield. The system was built because several problems were identified such as difficult to determine yield of oil palm and tree census, could not identify the position of blocks with systematically method. Moreover most system are still using manual storage system and unsystematic. This will cause the process to update the data took a long period. After identify these problems, this system was built with the GIS element as well as tried to make the analysis of yield data and tree census based on blocks and year. Refering to the frame work that consisted six phases that are get the data, study towards the data, built the database for system, built the analysis module, built interface of system using the GIS element and the last one is do the testing to the system. The system is successfully achieved the objective and goal that was determine. Hoping that this system could give benefit to the user.

In overcoming arising problems, three methods are used to developed this system, which include forecasting using Exponential Smoothing forecast method, ABC Analyze and Periodic Review System Model. A good inventory control system will ensure that the items in stock are always at an optimal level, so that the production activities can be carried out as planned. However, it is now recognized that the lot sizing of the items has to consider the limited capacity of the production facility simultareously. Therefore, this project is targeted at producing lot size schedule capacity without constraint and with constraint system is implemented using linear Programming Technique(Lp) seven other techniques in Discrete Demand system, and also Economic order Quantity (EOQ) technique which is a part of static Demand system.This system is developed using Protogtpe Methodology.The software's used for this system are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Aceess and Microsort Visual Basic 6.0 programming language. Result from all of these techniques will be compared for the best technique selection.As conclusion, this system developed to get the best resurt for lot sizing scheduling in industial sector based on the technique is implemented.

Bhd., Johor Bahru was having a problem with their current system which did not have a specific inventory control model and due to this,the stocks flow (in and out) are not recorded properly. This system is able to help the management to record the stocks flow (in and out),determine the size of order,the optimum level for stocks and the suitable time for making an order.The development process of this system is constructed by Prototype Model methodology. Periodic Review System has been choosen as the solution of inventory control models. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 and SQL-Server are used to develop this system.
