Abstract
The development of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) Web-Base System of Cenpak Paper Products (M) Sdn Bhd was one of the processes of upgrading system from standalone system to web-base system. This project was refer to one of sfudents project, "Inventory Control System and Material Requirement Planning for Cenpak Paper Products (M)" Sdn Bh4 1998" by Maizon Binti Kamaruddin and Rafidah Binti Omar. Referred to the current system, the process of inventory control was base on Offset Printing department. Then, the process of upgrading to web-base system also referred on the same department. Therefore, the upgrading will be taken on modification of new appearance interface, enhancement of staff and customer module, and MRP lot size technique. The techniques are lot-for-lot technique, least unit cost technique, periodic order quantity technique, silver-meal technique and wagner-whitin technique. Meanwhile, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, PHP language, JavaScript Language and HTML language will be used for developing system process. MySQL will be use for the database and Apache for the web server. Thereby, by improve this system,others than efficiency of management of inventory control, user can access the system through the internet.
