Abstract
Work schedule system in Kulai police station is developed based on the research and study that has been conduct at Kulai police station. The purpose of developing the system is to replace the present manual system and overcome problems such as replacement of staff and miss list staff. In addition, manual preparation of work schedule is also time consuming. This scheduling system is developed using the heuristic method. The output from the system that has been developed can produce a schedule task that is systematic for task rotation. Waterfall Model is chosen as a methodology in developing the system because it can ensure a smooth system progress development. The system is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 software is using as the system interface and Microsoft Access software as the database. With this scheduling system, hopefully it will help the schedule to reduce time making the schedule.
