Abstract
An inventory control system is an important device that plays a vital role in any organization.It is important to ensure the efficiency of the company's operation and to maintain the company reputation in meeting customer's demands. Seri Malaysia Hotel Seremban is facing a problem in controlling its inventory.Most of their data are kept manually.A computer based inventory control system is to be developed in order to help the hotel in managing their inventory efficiently and effectively.In order to overcome the problem facing by this hotel,researcher would like to develop inventory controlling system device based on the data given by the respective hotel.The system will be developed using" Water Fall" methodology, which is specific towards the activities inherent to the phases of the software development.The model that will be used is the Periodic Review Systems. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX program will be used to assist the Active Server Page(ASP) that can create a dynamic web pages and Microsoft Access 2000 software will be used as the database development environment.The goal of this research is such that the proposal system will enable Seri Malaysia Hotel Seremban to achieve a higher service level while monitoring overhead cost.
