Abstract
As the world enters the millennium era of globalization and
technology development, all organizations are encouraged to have computerized
management.This computerized technology is to ensure the operation management
of any organization is done, efficiently and systematically. As such an inventory
control system based on web is developed for Aqidmatin Industries Sdn Bhd. Based
on the data analysisd one,an inventory model for dependent demand is chosen to be
incorporated in the system.Besides managing and confrolling inventory level, this
system can be accessed anywhere by just surfing the Internet. The purpose of this
system development is to manage the inventory activity, and to assist the
Management Department to plan the need of raw materials and to minimize the
costs.Besides that, this system is able to generate a report on time and determine the
quantity of products and raw materials that have to be ordered and produced for a
period. This system is developed using the Microsoft Visual InterDev ciersion 6.0,
HTML Language, Active server Page (ASp) and Microsoft Access 2000 for the
database.
