Abstract
Inventory control system is a very important need for an organization to control its overall stock. The same goes for Al-Ikhsan, sports goods and attire shop. The inventory system that is curently used still contains some weaknesses. Therefore, a new system will be developed to overcome this downside, which will use two inventory control models; Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Periodic Review System compared to the current system which only utilize EOQ. Beside that, this system also apply a forecasting method to determine the demand. The forecasting method used in this system is Moving Average. The current system is a stand alone system while the system which have been developed are web-based system. It was developed using the Micrososft Frontpage 2003 software for interface design purposes, Active Server Page(ASP) to code the system and MySQL to design its database. The system that have been developed is hoped to be able to conduct analysis on calculation outputs based on data that will be used.
