Abstract
In present science and technology era, industrial organizations that work with assembly line production embark on inventory control. This system is a Material Requirement Planning(MRP) system for Volex Cable Assemblies Sdn Bhd to help that organization to determine lots sizing that give the most minimum cost for every time an order had been placed. This system then hopefully can give some ideas to the organization to upgrade their Business Planning Control System that already exist. Lot sizing technique that will be investigated and implement into systern are Lot-For-Lot, Period Order Quantity and Silver-Meal Algorithrn to verify which technique will give the minimum cost for each item. This MRP system being executed just by using all items that being used to make N18020/1203A telecommunication cable product only. This system use Waterfall method. This MRP system will be developing using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, which is one of PHP-supported software managed by Apache and MySQL as the database as well.
