Abstract
The way of buying and selling textbooks or other books through conventional bookstores usually puts students at a disadvantage. Students get a lot of problems on aspect of getting the books and how to do a buying and selling transaction process. This Online Selling Books System provides facilities for the student and lecturers to gets information on used textbooks or other books thus making the system more systematic and efficient. Student also can make request if their searching didn't return any result. Rational Unified Process methodology bring the goodness by gathering the group of developer to -increase the communication and building the understanding concerning about the :task, responsibilities in the development process_ This system is developed using the CorbaWeb technology where it combine the WWW and CORBA based on the CorbaScript. This system can be used by not only by students and lecturers of Faculty Science Computer and Information System but to all users. Hopefully this system will bring make the customer easier to use the system by using the functionality that provided by the system.
