Abstract
Inventory Control System is important in organization especially that
involved in industry because its can minimize the total holding cost,reduce cost and
increase their competency. Therefore, lnventory Control System with web
application is developed for Sapura Machining Corp.Sdn.Bhd.to replace the current
manual system. This inventory system isexpected to solve problem in stock control
and production planning,which is encountered in current system. Material
Requirement planning(MRP) technique that consists of several models such as Less
Cost(JKT),Part Period balancing(PPB),Less Unit Cost(LUC), Silver Meal
Algorithm (ASM), Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Wagner
Within Algorithrn(AWW) were chosen and they were built in web-based
engineering environment,Macromedia Dreamweaver MX2004 and Microsoft
Access XP is used to build the system.
