Abstract
Information Technology or IT, is one of the latest and largest world
contribution in all apart of our life. This is because the facilities and benefits that we
will get from this fastest growing technology. Due to this positive growth, the
manufacturing industries will have to get ready to build up their empire with the up-to-date computerized information system,such as in an inventory controlling
management. That is why a fully computerized Material Requirement planning
System for KLLT Plastics and KLLT Profile is build in order to replace the current
manual system. The mistaken in deciding the order of raw materials and the
difficulty to keep data arc the main problem faced by the curent system. This
proposed system can manage the control of the raw materials in order to ensure the
types of item, quantity and time to order axe done correctly. The Algorithm Silver
Meal(ASM) method has been chosen to optimize the cost. PHP server side scripting
and MySQL to support the system database will be use to develop this system.
Besides,it also being supported by Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 as the
interface medium and the Apache Web Server to fulfill the web based application
needed.The development of the system processes are based on the Evolutionary
Prototyping Methodology that will ensure the creation of user friendly system.
