Physical Based Modelling-Goal Post Net

Abstract

          This project focuses on physical based modelling specifically to cloth modelling. Physical based modelling is chosen because of its capabilities to bring a high level of realism. The writer set out to model a goal post net but beforehand the writer has reviewed numerous techniques available. After much effort put into researching, the writer has concluded that the best option available for the project is the mass and spring model. The writer has explored bits and part of this model and started a very raw design of the simulation. As the physical properties are very crucial, many physic and mathematical formula was explore. After enduring to understand all the calculation involve the writer has managed to set the appropriate formula to be implemented in the simulation. Physic methods that are implemented include Euler, Newton Law and many other physic methods. At the end of the project the writer hopes to successfully create a simulation that not only runs smoothly but accurately as well. The overall simulation will be robust for future works.
