Analisis Teknik Peramalan Box-Jenkins Dalam Membuat Model Peramalan Taburan Hujan Kajian Kes: Taburan Hujan Bagi Negeri Johor Darul Takzim Berdasarkan Bacaan-Bacaan Stesen-Stesen Penyukat Hujan Di Setiap Daerah.

Abstract

          Flood is one of the major natural disasters in Malaysia. This tragedy causes invaluable loss in terms of lives and economy especially in the agricultural sector. One good example was flood tragedy at Kangkar Pulai, Johan We as human beings are not capable to prevent this phenomenwtotally but we are able at least to forecast the next tragedy before it occurs by creating a suitable flood forecasting model according to the sum of rainfall. Hence, a flood forecast analyois as according to the rainfall readings shall be produced using the Box- Jenkins methOdology and so a suitable model for rainfall can be obtained. The data for the forecasting shall be obtained from the Hydrological and Water Resource Division, Department of Drainage and litigation. To develope this project, the STATISTICA package is+ used in the forfeasting analysis.
