Abstract
Quality control is an important aspect to determine the successful of a company. Producing of high quality can improve company selling product and at the same time can make a lot of profits. The main objective of this project is to develop an online quality control system for Podoyo Plastics Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. After being analyzed, the company faced some problems on controlling quality of their products' Inspected data was recording and storing unsystematically. Besides, sample size for inspection is difficult to determine and the problem also occurred in making data analysis to obtain an accurate and quick report or result. Therefore, an online quality control system developed based on statistical control concept which consists of statistical process control (SPC) and sampling acceptance method. The techniques in statistical process control that will be implemented are histogram and np control chart and sampling method for sampling acceptance method. These methods could generate the output that has the capability to display the raw data in graphic and produce information about the quality control process and it is also capable of generating report for each process. This system will be developed by using Hypertext Preprocessor and MySQL as the database. Hopefully, this system can help the company solve the problems and at the same time can increase the quality of the products.
