Abstract
Recently, the numerical analysis in science and engineering become
extensively used in the market particularly in solving system of linear equation.
Based on the situation,this project as a user-helper focuses on the comparison of
several iterative methods in solving system of linear equation. The comparisons of
be observed are in terms of the fastest and the most accurate method in problem
solving. All the iterative methods proposed are based on matrices. Four methods
have been developed and two methods were added for research. The normal
methods such as Jacobi,Gauss-Seidel and successive over-relaxation method are
applied in this project. Alternatively,preconditioned conjugate gradient method also
been developed. The added methods were conjugate gradient and the iterative
refinement which enhancing the direct method. This system developmen its based
on waterfall methodology.All the above mentioned methods are developed in Java
programming language. As for the testing purpose,these methods have to be
compared with manual calculation and positive-negative test.
