Abstract
System based MC68000 had achieved a fast development and widely used in
micro controllers and embedded systems. In this project, a 68000 cross-assembler has
been developed using C programming language. 68000 cross-assembler is a software
that used to assemble source program in 68000 assembly language to object code in
S-record format. Even though the cross assembler software already exist in the
market, but this software is more suitable use by Malaysia's researchers with more
detail explanation and showing steps in software programming. Thus, this 68000
cross assembler software development project will become the inspiration of future
research in the field of assembler.
