Abstract
Nowadays, VRML ( Virtual Reality Modeling Language ) is widely used in
graphics and animation technology. VRML blends 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional
objects and multimedia elements into a single model. The development of virtual reality
technology allows the combination of those media with script language and internet
ability in order to produce a new interactive multimedia application such as
'Exploring
Administration Building with Virtual Reality'. This application is developed to help
users especially students and visitors to find location of places in the Administration
Building. This application allows users to explore, experience and hear sound like they
are in that building. This system is installed in a website and can be access anytime and
anywhere by users. This project covers a few location at level I and 2 in the
Administration Building. The use of buttons and icons make the system user friendly.
Beside that, users can find information using the walk through concept as well as
interact with interactive 3-dimensional objects.
