Abstract
Nowadays, Internet is one of the most popular channels for information
distribution and this will provide wider and faster access to information for users.
GIS application more expose although it is quite new in Malaysia. Hence this project
is developed based on Internet using and GIS application, its will help tourist make a
choice of destination and know which route they can access- Therefore, the Kuala
Terengganu district has been chosen in this study on developing information-based
software about tourism information by using the GIS application. This study is
purposely to develop a prototype web site with the GIS application.
