Abstract
This project is based upon the electronic commerce technology that is being
talked about now. In this project, technical aspects of electronic commerce are identified
and given proper consideration in developing the
'Customer-customized
Online
Personal Computer Sales System'. Consumer of this system will be able to choose and
order personal computer with the hardware configuration customized according to
user's needs' This system is a prototype which can be implemented in any personal
computer sales company all over the country. This system consist of a web site capable
of receiving and validating orders and maintaining the database perfectly, In developing
this system, the object-oriented approach is used as a system analysis and design
method. So the development of this system uses the Rational Unified Process (RUP)
methodology for development of the system and the Unified Modeling Language (UML)
method as a tool for analysis and designing the system.
