Abstract
At the time being, there are many organizations who compete each other to show
that they are the best. Therefore, touch screen application has been developed to
implement the multimedia software products towards the progress of the global market
nowadays. Meal ordering system is being developed for the McDonald fastfood
premises in Skudai. This system is more like a case study to replace the manual system
that is currently used with a more multimedia technology. Besides to expedite and to
make sure the smoothness of the present transaction live, the system is highly hoped to
help in maintaining the premises so that it will be more regularly and efficient. This
system has been developed by using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 with client-server
approach using socket programming technique.
