Abstract
The current growth and expansion of computer technologies has led to the invention of diverse computer devices; one of the mentioned devices is the Pocket PC. The purpose of this project is to develop a note taking and data storing application for several source notes and multimedia sources which are Note Card, Archive, Article, Book, Email, Interview, Presentation, Image, Audio and Video including filename storage for the multimedia sources, Image, Audio and Video for Pocket PC. This application is developed using eMbedded Visual Basic 3.0 software on the desktop environment, and the Microsoft Access as a database. The interface is simple and easy to use, specifically design to suit and support the display of Pocket PC device which allows the usage of the application to be more efficient and effective to the user. However, there are several weaknesses on the application which has no synchronization between desktop and Pocket PC and the application does not support audio and video with .mp3 and .avi format.
