Abstract
E-commerce Portal . Studies on MiniMarket is a project that involved a business transaction between merchant customer. Eventhough, there are some aspect which have to be concerned including data security, features of portals, lnternetpayment and the facilities that are provided. More over, the concept of this project is corresponding with the information technology that increasing rapidly. The purpose of this project is to develop a web site for merchan to sell and promote their roducts. With other word, it is a online selling product system with an efficient and easy management B2C-model-based grocery transaction which is a business between company and a customer is scope of this system. Management work like adding, d leting and updating data also included in this scope. This project has been developed by using the UML (unified Modeling Language) methodology and distributed to all over the Internet. The literature review also has to be done for this project that include the type of business transaction- business to customer, business transaction between company and individual, studies on portals, the Internet payment method and the encryption method. Besides that, the servlet and some example of e-commerce site were also included in the literature review. Overall, with E-commerce Portal : Studies on MiniMarket is a project merchant and customer can communicated closely each other.
