Abstract
Mentoring is defined as a method of two ways communication that has for objectives to provide coaching and support, as well as giving advices through establishing relationship between mentors and matees. In conventional way, mentoring is conducted through a face-to face discussion. However, through the virtual community, the mentoring activities could be carried out at a bigger scale and be rendered more effective, as the users would not be limited by the time constraint. The author has chosen PHP and MySQL server as the development platform of this simple yet dynamic website. The cascade methodology is used to ensure that the development of the website maintains its original objectives. This website, which function as a web-based system, will serve as a career development tools targeted for students ranging from SPM school leavers to diploma even degree holders. Finally, thw author hopes that with the guidance and councelling provided by the mentors, mantees, could in many ways, benefit from this website and ultimately achieve the goals in the career life.
