Pembangunan Dan Permainan Teka Silang Kata Secara Atas Talian Dengan Meenggunakan Java RM1


Abstract

          Crossword Puzzle is a word game which is popular since it was introduced. However, building a complete Crossword Puzzle for playing is not an easy job. Following by the growing of the advanced computer technology, there is a high demand for computerized the Crossword Puzzle building process. The usage of Internet has increased at the end of 20th century. Various web based applications have come to us. Nowadays, there are various techniques for web based application development, such as Java Socket, Java RMI and CORBA. This project is going to develop a web based application which provides services for users to build Crossword Puzzle and play it. This application is developed by combining the Crossword Puzzle building algorithm and the network programming techniques. Researches on Crossword Puzzle techniques and networking have been made. The Crossword Puzzle building algorithm here is designed based on modification of Unconstrained Crossword Puzzle with slot table approach which was introduced by Geoff I Iarris (1990). Java RMI will he used as a network programming method for controlling communication between clients and servers in this client-server application.
