Abstract
E-Commerce has become an alternative in the business sector since the internet tenchnology is increasingly being popularized. Therefore, the aim of this project is to develop a website with the concept of electronic commerce for Salun Kecantikan De Erika. The website that has been developed will promote cosmetic products as well as beauty and body care services that are available to customers of the salon. Besides of that, customers will be able to place orders for products and make appointments for the services online. This project has been combine multimedia technology that will be implemented on a website and connected to a database. The database will function as a storage for products, services and customers data. This project will be developed using Active Server Pages (ASP) technology, Internet Information Server (IIS) as the web server and Microsoft Access 2000 as the database to produce an interactive and dynamic website. This project hopes to bring a new development to Salun Kecantikan De Erika in order for the salon to compete with other organizations in the same business.
