Abstract
Managing image is not an easy task. Thus this system is hoped to be able to help user organize loads of images. It is always been an issue on how to manage the image efficiently and can be retrieved later using a fast retrieval mechanism. This application has the functionality of managing image fail, searching, sorting, uploading, downloading and deleting image fail. Each image can be categorized into a few categories and numerous keywords. Every category and keyword must reflect each other and can be able to describe image accordingly. Each image is stored in database to maintain the security. A thumbnail is generated from the original image and be used later as reference to the original image. This thumbnail is stored in the directory system to minimize waiting time during the viewing process. Lastly, this system offers image searching based on text description.
