Perbandingan Algoritma Pengesanan Sisi Objek


Abstract

          The usage of image processing has developed quickly in many field such as medical, industry and agriculture. An image have to go through a few image processing steps such as edge detection before it can be used fully according to the each fields. The purpose of edge detection is to find the contour of object edge by separating the object with the background or noise. Laplace, Sobel and Prewitt operator are among the procedure that is widely used to gain the image edge detection. This method is purposed to identify the method, which is most effective in gaining the edge point, which is accurate. To gain the best of edge detection technique, test must be done to variety of image. For this purpose, image has been classified to three groups. The three group of image are defined as portrait image, non-portrait image and blurring image (with row quality). Sixty samples of image have been tested, where the entire category is tested with twenty samples each. The result of the research is showed in the form of table so that a good edge detection method comparison can be done easily. The conclusion is done based on evaluation result data analysis that has been done by three respondents using the questionnaire forms. From the analysis of the differential table, we can see that Laplace technique gain a large number of mean. Therefore, we can make a conclusion that, Laplace algorithm is the most effectiveness edge detection technique. Using this edge detection algorithm, image contour line are detect with low noise. Hopefully this research can help in choosing the best method to get the best edge detection.
