Perlaksanaan Visible Watermarking dalam Perlindungan Hakcipta Imej

Abstract

          The growth of networked multimedia systems has created the need for the copyright protection of various digital mediums, e.g., images, audio clips, video, etc. Copyright protection involves the authentication of ownership and the identification of illegal copies of an image. One approach used to address this problem is to add a visible or invisible structure to an image that can be used to seal or mark it. These structures are known as watermarking. Watermarking is a potential method for protection of ownership rights on digital audio, image and video data. Visible watermarking is a type of digital watermarking used for protection of publicly available images. However, this paper only focuses on the visible watermarking that is applied into the digital image. Result from this project is predicted, will enable image to be protected by copyright and specific groups cannot manipulate the image.
