Abstract
This project is about developing a children software prototype which implements' the speech technology by using the Neural Network technique. This prototype can receive users' voice as an input. The users for this prototype are children aged between 4 to 6 years old. Majority of the software available in the market nowadays use the old, traditional method to get input from users that were keyboard and mouse. Both of these input devices are the normal type of input devices and the technology has been used for quite a long time. So, an alternative system which capable of accepting voice input need to be develop. This prototype can only recognize alphabetical letters from A to J. First of all, learning session need to be given to the user before training process or recognition can be initiated. For each letter spoken by user, the system will verify and give response to them either the spoken letter is correct or wrong.
