Abstract
This project is in relation to develop a web-based group activity planner system. The project begins with doing research on other software contained similar feature as the system that is intended to be developed. One of the most important features in this system is groupware application where details and information can be shared among user. Targeted users for this stem are lecturers and students of Graphics and Multimedia Department of Faculty Computer Science and Information System, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The lecturers are able to view each other activities schedule to enable meeting to be scheduled and planned ahead of time. On the other hand, the students are able to view their lecturers' schedule so that they will be able to make appointments with the lecturers at an appropriate time. Apart from that, this system also allow the users to view activities that involve both parties, the lecturers and the students of Graphic and Multimedia Department, for example timetable of Projek Sarjana Muda presentation. This system will be developed using PHP. The end result is a web-based system that is capable to plan groups' activities in Graphic and Multimedia Department of Faculty Computer Science and Information System, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
