Sistem Perancangan Keperluan Bahan Di Duramex Industries Sdn. Bhd.


Abstract

          Inventory control system is one of the systems that could assist to manage all the information related to inventory efficiently.With this system,manual-based task is reduced and the data can be recorded systematically. Case study has been made at Duramex Industries Sdn. Bhd Pasir, Gudang, Johor Bharu. Duramex Industries is a company that produce cabinet product for server. The main purpose of this project is to help the organization to determine the exact quantity of ordered item and item to place the order with a suitable inventory model. Therefore, approach that has been choose for this system is Dependent Demand Inventory System using Material Requirement Planning (MRP) model. There are four types of Lot Sizing Techniques model which known as Silver Meal Algorithm (ASM), Least Unit Cost (LUC), Ll/agner Within Algorithm (AWW) and Least Total Cost (LTC) has been applied to obtain the optimum total cost and order time in purpose to get the lowest cost for inventory. Waterfall model has been identified as the methodology that will be use in system development. This system will use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 as Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) text. MySQL also will be use to support and design the database. Hopefully, this system will fuIfiIl the requirement for current inventory and help the organization to manage their inventory control in systematic.
