Sistem Simulasi Lengan Robot Staubli Rx-90L


Abstract

          Robotics technology plays an important rule to increase product outcome and efficiency of manufacturing process in industry. As a developing country to achieve the status of developed country, the facility for this technology is still deficient and need to be enhanced. Simulation is an effective method and the best solution for testing new product to reduce risk-failure, cut the cost and more flexible if it practicesin rightful manner. Hopefully this simulation system manage to aid learning and teaching process because the cost of the actual robot too high. The main motivation to develop this system is to understand the kinematics calculation and motion for Staubli RX-90L robot as well as for learning purpose. The methodology that was used is according to Waterfall Model. This project use Java software as platform for calculation kinematics to generate robot movement and also OpenGL graphic library for robot modeling in three dimension shape. This simulation system was successfully built and all the objectives and scopes have been fulfilled. However, there are constrains in this system which is no collision detection and no rear kinematics counting data. As a conclusion, hopefully this simulation system able to be as guidance in robotic sector and can turn into one of teaching aid tool an education centre.
