Antialiasing Dalam Pemetaan Tekstur


Abstract

          Texture mapping is one of the process which become an important component in the game engine environment. But, aliasing artifacts usually occured during the process of texture mapping. Aliasing is a reconstructed effect which exists as a result of the resampling process. Antialiasing is used to reduce this aliasing effect. Antialiasing is a specific technique to overcome the aliasing and generally divided into three categories which are prefiltering, no-filtering dan postfiltering. This report discussed the techniques and focus on the postfiltering or supersampling technique. Supersampling is a simple way to reduce aliasing artifacts but still can give a good result.
