Abstract
In this new era of technology, the world of management is no longer free from the domination of the greatness web application management system. Due to that, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) also does not want to getaway from having web based application system being implemented into its palm oil cost of production survey. This new system which being named as e-ProPALM is develop as an online system to ease the MPOB staff to get the feedback from all licensed oil palm estates and palm oil mills throughout Malaysia. Apart from that, this system can also reduce the workload among analyst at MPOB, plus it can also lesser the risk of getting noisy data to the very lowest percentage. Thus, only the best technology is being applied into the development of this system. Furthermore, the system development is guided by the Web Engineering methodology. PHP is chosen to be the web programming language while MySQL as the database platform. Modules design of this system is using an approach of Unified Modeling Language method and use case in order to explain the activities and processes in this system. Last but not least, this system is expected to help people at MPOB, at Economics and Industry Development Division to be exact and their respondents to have an efficient and productive system in the management of palm oil cost of production survey.
