Abstract
During this current technology, people are racing to maximize the use of web-based system. But behind this modernization, the field of Herpetofauna does not get much attention and has become a major factor of developing the Herpetofauna Database System Based on Web Application Development. This system will become a platform for biologist to refer, share opinions and add data related information to Herpetofauna. This system will be integrated with Google Maps application that is current and advanced applications that allow developers to map a distribution population of Herpetofauna with more interactive style. This system was developed using a model of system development life cycle (SDLC), Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as database system. With this production system, it is expected that Herpetofauna field will attract various parties and assist biologists in making any reference and research in the future.
