Abstract
The globalization in the computer system especially Internet and World Wide Web (WWW) has made many applications such as commerce, infomnation retrieval, virtual learning and the others can be practice on-line. Because there are so many web pages are exist, the searching task is more difficult nowadays. Althought here are so many search engine such as Yahoo, Altavista and Looksmart, but this method is less effective, because th e searching result always not fulfill the user specifications. Mobile agent technology using Aglet Workbench are exists to solve this problem. This system are developed using Java and JDK1.1.3 compiler. However, this paperwork is a prototype where its describing the searching system that only search around the data base. This will show how the agent communicate from one host to another.
