Penjanaan Laporan Bergrafik Untuk Pentadbir Firewall

Abstract

          This project involves the development of a system that's ease the firewall administrator To manage the firewall. It is easier for the firewall administrator to manage the firewall graphically. Possibility for the admin to make error in typing instruction directly to the console is possible. Although, to managed the firewall, the administrator need one way to make it more efficient and stable. However, the output produced by the administrator is only text;just plain text. consequently, it is complicated for the firewall administrator to analyze all the logs that have been made by the operating system. Therefore, the best approach is to make the presentation graphically. By this approach, the administrator only have to type one instruction to execute the program which will show the whole analysis in the order form. This approach will reduce typo done by the firewall administrator. At least the administrator does not have to retype or redo the whole thing again and again. The operating system used in this project is Linux Slackware 7.0 and TIS Firewall Toolkit as the firewall program. The software development using Visual TCL versionl '20 in GNU/Linux operating system. Lastly, the report generated sure will be interesting and will ease firewall administrator.
