Glkabus : Pembangunan Pustaka Bagi Permodelan Kabus Dalam Persekitaran 3d


Abstract

          Fog is one of natural element that we usually see especially at cold weather places and at the top Fog also an important element in any virtual environment. A virtual environment will look much more realistic if fog is added to it. An amorphous object like fog is hard to model because it would take many particles in order to create a realistic model of fog. But if we take too many particles to model fog, it would be heavy for computers to create it and it will need a higher computer's specification. So, this research is undertaken to model and render 3D fog. This research will implement billboarding technique to model fog as it will increase rendering time and it can be used in lower computer's specification. The output of this research consists of a library and two programs. glKabus is a library that can be used to create fog. The first program is use to model fog while the second program is use to demonstrate fog's model. From the system and library produced, it can be used to model realistic fog and it also can be used in real time application.
