Abstract
The field of visualization has grown together along with the rapid development of computer technology this past decade. The use of computer visualization is no longer restricted to the field of science and technology but has even expanded to include the field of education as a learning tool. Visualization in education has been found,to be an effective way to help students' understanding in difficult topics. In line with this view, this.project is expected to make the learning of data structures more effective with the help of visualizaiton. Therefore, this data structure visualization system is proposed as a learning aid to strengthen students' understanding about the concepts and operations of stack, queue and the linked list. The project is developed using object-oriented approach in Java. The visualization system is in the form of Java applet to enable it to be distributed on the world wide web.
