Abstract
The Semester studies and Student Academic Progress Module are part of the Faculty Subject Registration System developed using Visual Programming Technique.The purpose of this module is to organize information related to new and old students who are under the Faculty of Computer Science and Information System.This system is an expansion of the old Subject Registration System. The prior system is more toward registration of subject. Student Information that it holds is only simple student information.This is why, a more organize computer information system capable of managing and handling all the student information such as student personal information,activities,results,etc.,which more effective have to be develop.The module developed using visual Basic language as development tools in windows environment.The system will be running on Windows NT Advanced Server as the operating system and SQL-Server will be used as database management system.Beside this module, there are two other modules that are being built at the same time.They are the Subject Registration Module and the Diploma/Degree Graduation and Credit Transfer Module.
