Abstract
This software is a program which can extract sound segment from an AVI file
and save it into a WAVE RIFF file in original sound format. It creates WAVE file
by extracting a sound chunks from AVI video. Before sound extraction, we can
preview selected AVI file. The size of the video that has been played is only 5
minutes. The WAVE file that we get can be played and further more it can be
compressed into MP3 format. Format that has been used is
*.wav
for audio file,
*.avi
for video file and compression into MP3 format. This application is developed
to play the video file like usual video player that having common function like play,
pause, and stop. Further more it can separate audio segment from the video that had
been played. Also, the audio files that have been extracted can be compressed to
decrease the size of the file into MPEGI format (i.e MP3 file).
