Abstract
The globalizes world today which in scrambled with the diversity of human and information technology forces us to compete in order to achieve the best information in the most sufficient ways. GIS application system is a new link representing information, it is a very effective and the concept is acceptable. Futhermore, the application of the internet is commonly used and is heading towards the globalization era. Based on that stand, the concept of GIS trough the internet is applied as the information sources for secondary schools in district of Johor Bahru besides the usage of the GIS technique as the main way of delivering information's. First of all, the development of the prototype has to be done focusing only in the Johor Bahru area by using Windows 98 or at least Windows 95. Then with the application of Frontpage 98, it has been used as the basic need to develop the interface with the support from Flash 4 as the main base to innovate certain animation to fulfill the requirement of developing any multimedia products. Besides that, Frontpage 98 comes with a code system, which could assist Java Script Codes or Visual Basic Codes trough Microsoft Visual Interdave. The system is more effective with the use of ASP or well known as Active Server Page as the database agent. As for the example software like Microsoft Access 97, used likely faster and more accurate. Besides that, the running program from the code of Frontpage 98 is more faster than using Symantec Visual Cafe Enterprise Suite or Java Codes. And also Frontpage 98 is no needs to the more bigger configurations hardware to us like using Java.
