Pengesanan Perlanggaran Antara Rambut Dengan Rambut


Abstract

          Hair is a very important element for recognizing people. To model the natural appearance of a person, hair has to be accurately modeled. rendered, and animated. However, it remains difficult to obtain the realistic appearance and behavior of human hair. As a consequence, hair is usually simplified or hidden with hats. The difficulties with human hair arise several aspects. First, an average of human hair is at least 100,000 hair strands, even simplified models still require high amount of computing resources. Second. each hair strand's behavior is not trivial because it is very pliable and easy to bend. Third, the interaction between the hairs should not be ignored because these interactions generate very important patterns that make hairstyle distinguishable from others. This project is very useful especially for animator to create three dimensional hair animation that looks more realistic with collision detection. The focus of this project is on technique used to detect collision among hairs by using hounding sphere. This involves two strips of hairs which are modeled using mass spring method. Final results show that collisions between hair and hair are detectable using the selected method.
