Abstract
Nowadays there are many concept of developing a computer information system. One kind of system has been"Chosen to make it related to Geographical Information System concipt that Patient care System at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Medical Center. All the information or data-data from the system will be used with the concept that the information system about The Patient care System at UTM Medical center can be access based on geographical coordinate. This project will be developed where we can see the requirement of the use's manage the maintenance of the Patient Care System.1The Purpose of this thesis research is to develop a database for " Sistem Maklumat Bergeografi : Sistem Pengurusan Maklumat Pesakit di Pusat Kesihatan Universiti Teknologi Malaysia". This database is able to store spatial and non-spatial data, integration of both of this data and perform data manipulation to support analysis and manipulation process, graphic editing and Presentation. The software to be used in this system development is Mapinfo Professional 7.0, Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft SQL 7.0 as a database management.
