Abstract
Web based Reservation Information System of Gimlet Tekam Plantation Resort is a system that is specially develop to help the management of Chalet to increase the uality of their business activity and to help costumer to make order. This system tepds to record, manage and update the customer information, customer reservation, room accommodation, and daily transaction and generate documents. The main purpose of the system is to provide better services that the Chalet has to offer. Beside that, it can also improve communication betwpen the departmen1 and other department in the hotel and make it easy to costumer to make order. The ChAt management current system is the combination of the traditional system with the DOS that lack of user-friendly version. This system developed based on Prototype methodology and Unified Modelling Language (UML) as software development method. The system will be developing using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net, SQL Server and ASP. Net. It is hope that the proposed project could improve the implemented Chalet Tekam Plantation Resort work process daily routine and accomplished a more systematic and effective system.
