Abstract
PDRM is one of government facility in Malaysia that responsible in ensuring safety level for people living in this country always secured.For PDRM, the main problem that always faced is predicting the rate of crime in Kuala Lumpur due to no certain method used in forecasting the numbers for future use and record. PDRM management only use the record based on past year for prediction. For counter the problems, this research is carry out to analyze and forecast the rate of crime in Kuala Lumpur for future use and reference. The forecast technique that will be adopted in this research is Neural Network methodology by using Back Propagation algorithm. As a result, the method used will ease the PDRM managemen to forecast and upgrade their management system to a better state and in the end gives benefit to all. This forecasting research will be done with the usage of package MATLAB 7.0.
