Abstract
As the technologies are growing rapidly these days,such as computers,
sensors, exploration in space and other type of gadgets, robots has been applied in
various fields such as welding, space exploration and so on. There are many types of
task that can be handled by robot whether it is dangerous or not. This depends on the
specification and the functions of the robot. The MitsubishiR V-2AJ robot is a robot
that used commonly in the industrial sectors.This project is developed to identify the
payload of robot Mitshubishi. Robot takes the drill bit, start drilling and then put the
drill bit back to the place. Robot repeated the same process for the four woods. This
project is help to identify the payload of Robot Mitsubishi RV-2AJ where robots,
payload is still same or not, like what the company certify, after used as long as five
years.In addition to that,this project is also to identify the relationship between
robot and woods. overall research of this project is focused on testing robots,
payload that is in the Smart Manufacturing System Lab, Industrial Modeling and
computer Department, university Technology of Malaysia. The methodology
chosen for this project is Waterfall Development System.Robot MitshubishiR V-2AJ
arm is programmed using software MELFA BASIC IV. The conclusion for the result
is made,with compare the average force that robot used to drill with the ranse.which
is to identify the payload robot is still in the range or not.
