Abstract
Managing controlled inventory is crucial in an organization as to make sure the operation run smoothly and systematically. This web-based inventory controlled system project is developed for PBH Trading & Construction Sdn Bhd which is located in Dungun, Terengganu. This company is a vendor, distributor and supplier for construction's hardware and other equipment to all over Malaysia especially in east coast. Currently, the company facing a problem in term of inventory control because they are not implementing any computerizes inventory control system. They are still using manual system in managing inventory. Due to these circumstances, this initiative project is conducted to solve the company's problems. The scope for this project is concentrated to the items that have the highest demand. The inventory control model that used is Periodic Review System and Moving Average for the forecasting model. Meanwhile Analysis ABC had been used to categorized the items due to their usages. The Macromedia Dreamweaver MX software and PHP Hypertext Language were used in the system development. Hopefully, this project would help the company in controlling the inventory and increase the profits for the time being.
