Abstract

          Used of technology such as mobile phone technology, touch screen technology and biometric technology have becoming wider in this globalization era. One of the biometric technologies that had been introduced was a fingerprint recognizing technology. “Student’s attendance system using fingerprint technology” was a system that will develop specially to record student’s attendance in a class. This system also gets to see by student records either daily, every month or every year. All students’ attendance record and kept in this system database. This system is developing because of the few problems such as losing and destroying of records which has occurs in manual system that had been used nowadays. This system record the student’s attendance by using fingerprint biometric technology which is more effective than manual system because it’s safety characteristic. This system also able facilitates administrator and teachers to save time in record student’s attendance in a class. Furthermore, the student's record and students information can be keeps systematically using this “Student's attendance system using fingerprint technology".
